English Championship: Former Flying Eagles Star On Target In Watford Victory

Watford FC started their campaign in the 2023/2024 English Championship season on a good note as they secured a comprehensive victory over Queens Park Rangers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The game played at the Vicarage Road had the host dominating the game from the start and it was former Nigeria's Flying Eagles midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru that netted the opening goal in the opening minute of the game.

Louza Imran made it 2-0 for the Hornets in the 21st minute before Brazilian international Martins made it 3-0 in the 40th minute.

Two minutes later Bayo put the game beyond QPR as he netted the 4th goal and ensured a comfortable lead for the host going into halftime.

Dele-Bashiru was replaced in the 67th minute as Watford sealed the maximum points from the game.
