English Championship: Ndidi On Target In Leicester City Big Win

Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi justified his new position in the Leicester City squad as he was on target in their 4-1 triumph over Southampton, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Since the start of the 2023/2024 English Championship season, the boss of Leicester City Enzo Maresca has allowed Ndidi to play in advance position.

The Nigerian International justified the role on Friday night's game as he was the 3rd goal scorer for the Foxes after Jamie Vardy and Kassey McAteer scored the first two goals.

Sam Edozie scored in between for Southampton before Steph Mavididi sealed the game to silence the home crowd at Saint Mary Stadium.
