English Championship side West Bromwich Albion suffered a 3-2 defeat to Swansea on Monday afternoon as the league reached top gear, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi continued to underline his importance to the team as he was among the scorers.

It was West Brom that took the lead in the 13th minute through Yokuslu before Swansea equalised in the 26th minute with an effort from Cundle. 

Ajayi restored West Brom's lead in the 54th minute to silence the home crowd.

Ntcham Drew Swansea's level in the 66th minute before Piroe sealed the game for the host in the 93rd minute.
