Enyimba Football Club of Aba has officially announced the termination of Yemi olarenwaju's contract as Head Coach of the two-time CAF Champions League winners, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

This decision comes after a series of disappointing results, with the team managing to secure only one victory in their last 12 matches in both the Nigeria Premier Football League and the Confederation Cup.

An official statement on the club's X handle on Saturday read: "OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 📣 Enyimba FC can confirm that it has parted ways with head coach Yemi Olarenwaju.

The club thanks Coach Olarenwaju for his services and wishes him the best in his future endeavours."
