Eto'o Lands New Role At CAF

President of FECAFOOT, Samuel Eto'o Fils, has secured an additional role within the Confederation of African Football (CAF), BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite his previously challenging relationship with the organization, the former Barcelona star has been elected as one of CAF's Executive Committee members.

According to updates from CAF headquarters in Cairo, Eto'o has also been appointed Chairman of the Technical and Development Committee.

The legendary striker earned the position thanks to his impressive achievements in the game and is expected to play a key role in providing technical advice for upcoming major competitions.
