Eugene Agagbe Gets Contract Extension At Lobi Stars

Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi has announced the contract extension of its head coach, Eugene Agagbe, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

His previous contract with the Pride of Benue ended at the end of last season, in which he guided the club to sixth place in the Nigeria Premier Football League. A statement by the club disclosed that Agagbe officially agreed to continue as the club's head coach on a two-year contract until 2026. The club's VC and CEO, Dominic Iorfa said the decision to extend his stay at the club aligns with the goals of the club to achieve tremendous heights next season. A delightful coach, Agagbe, said that he is happy to renew his contract with the club and pledged not to be disappointed by the opportunity given to him. He expressed confidence in the calibre of players that will prosecute the 2024/2025 football campaign for the club, saying that the decision to acquire the services of grassroots players is to complement the vision of the club to expose the players on the global stage.
