Following his outstanding performance in the just-concluded season, Nigeria's Super Eagles and Feyenoord striker Cyril Dessers has been named in the team of the tournament, BSNsports.com.ng report

Dessers joined the Dutch club last season on loan from RKC Genk and was the cynosure of all eyes both in the continental and domestic scene.

Feyenoord surprised all bookmakers as they qualified for the final of the Europa Conference League before losing to the Serie A side AS Roma.

Dessers was named in the team of the tournament after netting 10 goals and emerging as the top scorer in the competition.

The hard-working striker made his Super Eagles debut against Algeria in an international friendly and is set to secure his second cap as his performance jas earned him a call for the upcoming games.
