Nigerian duo, Peter Olayinka and Collins Sor, were on target for Slavia Prague who held Feyenoord to a 3-3 draw away, in the first leg of their Europa Conference League quarter-final game on Thursday, BSNSports.com.ng reports .
Also in action was Cyriel Dessers, who provided the assist for one of Feyenoord’s goal.
Both sides were involved in high-scoring games in the previous round. Feyenoord saw off Partizan 8-3 on aggregate, while Slavia Prague beat LASK 7-5 over two legs.
Feyenoord put themselves upfront through Luis Sinsisterra effort at early 10 minutes of first half.
However, the pressure finally paid off for Slavia Prague, as Olayinka reacted swiftly to a rebound and fired home from close range to make it 1-1, four minutes before the break.
Former 36 Lion of Lagos cum-winger Collins Sor put the Czech Republic side 2-1 ahead in the 67th minute, after burying a well-placed finish behind Ofir Marciano.
Dessers was introduced into the game with Feyenoord trying to salvage a result. The Genk loanee proved his brilliance as he assisted Marcos Senesi’s goal, which made it 2-2.
With four minutes left Orkun Kokcu scored to put Feyenoord 3-2 but five minutes into added time Ibrahim Traore restore parity for Slavia Prague thanks to an assist from the sensational cum-winger Collins Sor.
Slaves Prague will welcome Feyenoord for the return leg next week Thursday.
