Europa Conference League: Orban Fires Hat Trick As Gent Rout Istanbul Baseksehir

It was a poor defeat for the Turkish Super Lig side Istanbul Baseksehir on Wednesday night in the Europa Conference League as they suffered a humiliating 1-4 defeat at home to KAA Gent, BSNSports.com.ng report.

It was Nigeria, youngster Emmanuel Gift Orban who singlehandedly punished the Turkish side as he fired a hat trick in minutes.

After a scoreless draw in 30 minutes, Orban opened the scoring in the 31st minute, hitting the second goal in the 32nd minute before completing his hat trick in the 34th minute.

Cuypers made 0-4 to the Belgian side before Andrei Januzaj scored a consolatory goal in the 88th minute and ended the game 1-4.

Gent progressed into the next round 5-2 on aggregates and Orban has scored 7 goals in the last two matches for the club.
