Europa Conference League Playoff Spot Delights Rafiu

Former Rivers United Ishaq Kayode Rafiu has expressed his delight after he helped his Slovenian club NK Maribor to qualify for the Europa Conference League playoff at the end of the season.

The 21-year-old Nigeria international joined the top-tier side from Nigeria Premier Football League side, whom he helped to win the title last season.

Speaking on his debut season, “First season in Europe done and dusted. Looking forward to another great season.

“Not an easy one for me but I’m excited it ended well as we qualified for the Europa Conference League playoff.”
