Europa League: "I'm Happy And Proud" - Balogun

Nigeria's Super Eagles and Rangers of Scotland defender, Leon Balogun, has said he is happy and proud of his achievement with the club, BSNsports.com.ng understand 

Balogun alongside his compatriots Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey were in action on Thursday night as Rangers defeated RB Leipzig 3-1 and qualified for the final of the Europa League.

The elated former Mainz 05 defender said his achievement at the Club is unbelievable.

" For now I can't really say what it means to be in the final of the Europa League, obviously is big.

"Everyone has their emotions, and what it means to the club after everything they've gone through over the years.

"Last season we have a good European run and at the beginning of this season we said we want to do it again and it ended in the final, which is unbelievable 

"For me its something I can't fathom because football can be crazy, i have difficult time in my career, for some time I have no club but I made it back into the Bundesliga, later Brighton before joining this massive club, win the league in the first season 

"I'm incredibly happy and proud because this is what we deserved as a club and family," he told Rangers TV.
