Europa League: Lookman Nominated For Player Of The Week

Following his outstanding performance in the second leg of the semi-final of the UEFA Europa League against Olympique Marseille, Nigeria's Super Eagles and Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman has been nominated for the Player of the Week, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Italians secured a comfortable 3-0 win over the former European Champion to book their spot in the final 4-1 on aggregate.

It was the Nigerian International who scored the opening goal in the 30th minute before goals from Rugerri and Toure sealed the game.

Lookman will battle AS Roma’s Mile Svilar for the individual accolade.

Atalanta will face Bayer Leverkusen in the final in Dublin on Wednesday, May 22.
