Veron Omba Mosengo, newly appointed head of the Democratic Republic of Congo Football Federation (FecofaRdc), has officially unveiled the team tasked with supporting his ambitious plan to revamp Congolese football, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Speaking at the presentation, Mosengo described the group as “experienced, grassroots-oriented, and committed,” comprising leaders and stakeholders from across the provinces, club officials, prominent figures in women’s football, and individuals with extensive knowledge of the sport in the country.
“This team embodies a clear objective: to combine experience, regional representation, and expertise to create a more credible and accessible FecofaRdc, one that is closer to the people on the ground,” Mosengo said.
He emphasized that the team’s role is not to manage daily operations but to focus on the long-term development of football in DR Congo.
“In a context where the Congolese people expect results, my guiding principles will remain exemplary conduct, integrity, rigor, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility,” he added.
Mosengo concluded by appealing to the public’s support: “I invite you to place your trust in us.”
