Exclusive: 21-man Flying Eagles Final List Submitted To FIFA Unveiled

Twenty Flying Eagles players on Saturday left Nigeria for Argentina to participate at the FIFA U20 World Cup which begins 20th May, 2023, BSNsports.com.ng can reports.

Head coach, Ladan Bosso who had earlier invited 35 players to their camp in Abuja submitted the 21-man final list to the Nigeria Football Federation who in turn sent it to FIFA. The U20 World Cup organiser, FIFA has given 10th May 2023 as deadline for submission of the final list for all participating teams.

AC Milan forward, Victor Eletu as against earlier report will join the Flying Eagles in Argentina as he was missing when the team departed Nigeria for the world cup venue on Saturday. BSN Sports gathered that FIFA was responsible for the payment of flight expenses for all the participating countries in the tournament.

The full list of 21 Flying Eagles players to 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina:

Defenders: Bameiyi Daniel (Yum Yum FC) Benjamin Frederick (Simoiben FC) Solomon Agbalaka (Broad City FC) Augustine Njoku (Abia Warriors) Abel Ogwuche (Trelleborg FF) Israel Domingo (Family Worship) 

Midfielders: Ibrahim Abdullahi (Samba FC), Victor Eletu (AC Milan), John Joshua (Nasarawa Utd), Tochukwu Nnamdi (Botev Plodiv FC), Samson Lawal (Pro Success FC) Daniel Daga (Dakkada FC),

Forwards: Ibrahim Mohammed (Cartagena FC), Ibrahim Kehinde (Green light FC) Emmanuel Umeh (Botev Plodiv FC) Jude Sunday (Real Sapphire) Lawal Salem Fago (Mavlon FC), Haliru Seriki (Mahanaim FC).

Nigeria are in group D with Dominican Republic, Italy and Brazil. The two times World Cup finalists will begin their campaign against Dominican Republic before taking on Italy and Brazil in the second and third group games.
