 With just six hours to kickoff, security has been intensified around the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium ahead of tonight’s highly anticipated Africa Cup of Nations semi-final between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and host nation Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

As at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, BSN Sports observed a heavy presence of security personnel stretching from the Rabat Riad train station to the stadium, a distance of approximately one kilometre. Both local and national security agencies are deployed in full force, conducting surveillance and crowd-control operations as anticipation builds for the 9:00 p.m. showdown.

Despite the stadium’s 68,000-seat capacity, the arena remained completely empty as I spectators have gained entrance at the time of this report. However, fans are expected to face significant challenges as kickoff approaches, particularly regarding security checks and access to match tickets.

Investigations by BSN Sports reveal that tickets are unavailable both online and at physical outlets, leaving many supporters uncertain about gaining entry into the stadium. The absence of ticket sales has added to growing tension among fans, especially visiting Nigerian supporters.

There has also been heightened concern among some Nigerian fans over personal safety should the Super Eagles secure a victory against the host nation. These fears appear to have been addressed through the massive security deployment visible around the stadium precincts.

Nigeria and Morocco will battle for a place in the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations when they clash tonight at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
