FA Cup: Iwobi To Undergo Scan On Ankle Injury- Everton Boss

The manager of the English premier league club Frank Lampard has confirmed that injured Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi will undergo a scan on Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The Nigeria international sustained what looks like a serious ankle injury after a malicious tackle from the Manchester United defender Malacia.

The former Arsenal midfielder left the stadium in crutches after the game as Everton suffered a 3-1 defeat at Old Trafford.

While speaking on his injury, Lampard said Iwobi will have a scan on Saturday to determine the extent of the wound.

"We hope it's not too serious. It looks like an ankle ligament injury. He will have a scan tomorrow ( Saturday) to confirm", Lampard said.
