Leicester City manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy has confirmed that Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is fit to play against Manchester United in the FA Cup on Friday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ndidi has been out of action since suffering a muscle injury during Leicester City’s 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion last December.

The Foxes will take on the Red Devils in the FA Cup, and Van Nistelrooy has assured that the Nigerian international will be part of the squad for the match.

"Wilf is fine," Van Nistelrooy said, as quoted on the club’s official website. "He had a great week of training, both last week and this week. He’ll be part of the squad tomorrow."

Ndidi's return is also a significant boost for Super Eagles coach Eric Sekou Chelle, as the team prepares for upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
