FC Basel Sign Nigerian Winger On Loan From Trabzonspor

Swiss Super League side FC Basel 1893 have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of Belgian-Nigerian winger Kazeem Olaigbe on a one-year loan from Turkish club Trabzonspor, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The deal includes an option for FC Basel to make the move permanent at the end of the 2026/27 season.
Olaigbe, is a natural winger with extensive experience across Europe.
He began his football journey in the youth academy of Anderlecht before continuing his development with English club Southampton.
During his career, he has also featured for Cercle Brugge, Stade Rennes, and Trabzonspor.
Last season, the pacey winger spent the campaign on loan at Turkish Süper Lig side Konyaspor, where he gained valuable top-flight experience.
On the international stage, Olaigbe has represented Belgium at every youth level and most recently featured for the country's Under-21 national team.
FC Basel will hope the versatile winger adds pace, creativity, and attacking quality as the club prepares for the new campaign.
