Nigeria's U18 men's basketball team, D'Tigers, has departed for Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, to compete in the FIBA U18 AfroBasket Qualifiers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The young Nigerian side will battle for a place at the FIBA U18 AfroBasket Championship as they take on some of the continent's best emerging talents in the qualification tournament.

The trip marks an important step in the development of Nigeria's next generation of basketball stars, with the team aiming to secure qualification and continue the country's strong tradition in African basketball.

The Nigeria Basketball Federation expressed confidence in the squad's ability to represent the nation with pride as the players prepare to begin their campaign in Ouagadougou.
