FIBA Women’s World Cup: France Unveils Final Roster Ahead Of D’Tigress Clash

France have unveiled their final roster for the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, with Les Bleues set to face Nigeria’s D’Tigress in the tournament, BSNSport.com.ng reports. 

The French national team will enter the competition with a squad boasting a strong blend of size, experience and versatility, making them one of the teams expected to challenge for honours.

France’s roster features players capable of making an impact at both ends of the court, providing the team with significant depth across different positions.

Their recent Olympic campaign also demonstrated their ability to compete against the world’s best, including the United States, when the stakes are at their highest.

However, despite their pedigree and consistent presence among the elite teams in international women’s basketball, France have a long-standing World Cup drought to overcome.

Les Bleues have not won a medal at the FIBA Women’s World Cup since 1953, and they will be hoping their talented squad can finally end that wait in 2026.
