World football governing body, FIFA has congratulated Remo Stars for winning their maiden league title, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The football body sent their congratulatory message from its President, Gianni Infantino and addressed to Remo Stars through the NFF President, Ibrahim Gusau. 

"Congratulations to Remo Stars FC Dear President, By means of this letter, I am pleased to congratulate the new champions of Nigeria, Remo Stars FC. 

"Their constant efforts and results throughout the season have paid off, resulting in this important title. Congratulations to each and every member of the team and of the club for this great achievement. 

"While thanking you and your Federation for your continuous support, work, and dedication for the development of football in your country, I look forward, dear President, to seeing you again soon. Yours in football,"

Remo Stars were crowned champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League Season 2024/2025 and will represent the country in the CAF Champions League.
