FIFA Ranking: Super Falcons Retain Position

World soccer governing ( FIFA) has released the final women ranking for the year 2022 and Nigeria's Super Falcons retained its position, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Unlike the men's ranking which comes every month, women's ranking is done every three months.

According to the ranking released on Friday morning, former African champions Super Falcons of Nigeria maintained its 45th position in the World and first in the continent.

African champions Banyana Banyana of South Africa is placed in the second position in Africa but not in the top 50.

Indomitable Lioness of Cameroon, Black Queens of Ghana and Ivory Coast completes the African top 5.

The new FIFA ranking will be done in the new year as Super Falcons hope to improve in the ranking before the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
