FIFA Rankings: Super Eagles End 2024 As 44th Best Team

Nigeria's Super Eagles ended the year 2024 in the 44th position in the latest ranking released by FIFA, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Nigerian male national football team suffered a massive collapse in the November ranking, after their home defeat to Rwanda in the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier.
According to the ranking released on Thursday afternoon, the Super Eagles garnered 1482.23 points to stay in 44th position and 5th in Africa.
The Atlas Lions of Morocco remained the continent's best-ranked team, and they are placed 14th, followed by the Teranga Lions of Senegal in 17th position and second in Africa.
African Top 10: 1. Morocco 2. Senegal 3. Egypt 4. Algeria 5. Nigeria 6. Ivory Coast 7. Cameroon 8. Mali 9. Tunisia 10. South Africa
