FIFA Rankings: Super Falcons Move Up To 32nd

Following their impressive performance in the just concluded 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, Nigeria's Super Falcons have moved up massively in the latest rankings, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After putting up a good show at the group stage, the Falcons only lost to European champions England in the round of 16 of the competition.

The ranking released on Friday indicated that the Nigerian side now placed 32nd in the World and number one in the continent.

The latest ranking means the Falcons gained 8 places as they were ranked 40th in the last ranking.

Super Falcons will return to action next month when they face Ethiopia in the Olympic qualifier.

The next FIFA ranking is fixed for December 15, 2023.
