FIFA U17 Women World Cup: Chile Sends Warning Signal To Nigeria, Beat Morocco

The group opponent of Nigeria's Flamingoes in the 2022 FIFA U17 Women World Cup in India, Chile on Wednesday sent a warning signal to Nigeria by beating another African representative Morocco 3-1 in a warm-up game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Chile arrived in India last weekend and has intensified its preparations for the competition.

The South Americans had to bounce back strongly in the second half conceding the first goal in the first half.

Goals from Paloma, Anas Alvarez and Emman Gonzalez ensured they recorded a 3-1 win over Morocco.

Chile who is a debutant in the tournament will open its campaign against New Zealand before playing Nigeria in the second group game.
