One of Africa's representatives in the upcoming FIFA U17 Women's World Cup in India, Tanzania has concluded their training tour of England, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The team under the watchful eyes of coach Bakari Shime leaves England today to travel to India.

"From a technical perspective, the camp in England has benefited us a lot because we also managed to have some friendly matches that helped us fine-tune several aspects."

The head coach made it clear that although they are going to face very experienced teams, his players are well prepared to prove a point at the competition.

“We have all qualified for the World Cup and no team must be taken for granted,” he told Cecafa media.

Serengeti Girls will open their campaign with a match against Japan on October 12th.

The Tanzanian team will face France in the second match on October 15th and battle Canada three days after in the last Group D match.
