FIFA U17 Women's World: Our Goal Is To Win The Trophy - Flamingoes Captain

The skipper of Nigeria's U17 Women's team Flamingoes Alvine Dah Zossu has underlined the objective of the team going to the World Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The team under coach Bankole Olowookere has been in camp and they are expected to depart the country for Turkey on Monday evening.

Zossu while speaking as they set to depart said their focus is to win the cup for Nigeria

"It wasn't easy, the journey was like the higher it goes, the tougher it became, but we were able to scale through.

"I believe in my team and we are the best, I knew the quality we have and when resumed camping, our coach has really worked on our mistakes. I know we are going to play better in the world cup than in the qualifiers.

" II'm confident that we are going to scale through the group stage.

"Our goal is to win the World Cup because we've worked hard for it", she said.
