FIFA U17 Women's World Cup: "Flamingoes Will Play Against Germany Like Other Team" - Head Coach
Ahead of the opening group match against Germany, the head coach of Nigeria's Flamingoes Bankole Olowokeere has admitted that the European Nation is a powerhouse in football, BSNSports.com.ng report
The Nigeria U17 Women's team will confront Germany in its first match of the 2022 FIFA U17 Women's World Cup in India.
During a press conference, the coach further said being a powerhouse will not come to play on the field because both teams will be equal
"This is World Cup, we played matches to qualify but the only thing is that playing Germany, we knew they were a powerhouse in football, we followed them closely and we strategies, when we get to the field of play all the big names will put aside because we are equal on the field of play", he told the team media.
Nigeria face Germany on October 11th in Goa before confronting Chile and New Zealand later in the group.
