FIFA U17 Women's World Cup: Flamingoes Arrive In India

The Nigeria Women's U17 team, Flamingoes has arrived in India for the U17 Women's World cup that will kick off this weekend, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The team under coach Bankole Olowookere spent 10-days in Turkey for training and warm-up games.

They played two matches in Turkey against Galatasaray and Fenerbahce before embarking on their journey to India.

They arrived in the Indian capital Mumbai on Friday morning and moved to Goa the venue of their opening group game against Germany on October 11th.

The players and their technical crew were quickly moved to the Grand Hayyat hotel where they will stay for their group matches.
