FIFA U20 World Cup: Ex-Falconets Coach Urges NFF On Early Preparations

Former Falconets assistant Coach, Mansur Abdullahi, has urged the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to schedule early preparations with quality friendly matches for the Nigeria U20 Women national team, Falconets, BSNSports.com.ng can report.


Mansur in an exclusive interview with BSN Sports said, "Football is not scientific, we have to tell ourselves the truth, the developed countries have improved well and for Nigeria to do well, first is early preparation, good camping, and playing grade A friendly matches. There is nothing bad about playing teams that have qualified for the world cup." He told BSN Sports


He stated that the Nigeria team are in a tough group but believe that the technical crew led by Christopher Danjuma are capable of qualifying the team from the group.


"The day I saw the group I knew it is not easy because playing against France, Canada and Korea, a lot of things have to be done for the girls, good to know that they have a sound technical group lead by Chris Danjuma. Works have commenced to get video clips of all the countries and see how they can be able to get out of the group stage." He concluded
