Nigeria’s U20 women's national team, the Falconets, will take on Australia and Mexico in friendly matches as part of their preparation for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The friendly fixtures according to reports will be held in Colombia, where the final phase of their training camp will take place next month.

The Falconets commenced their World Cup preparations in Abuja two weeks ago.

The squad, currently consisting of 32 players, is competing for spots on the final team roster.

In the upcoming World Cup, Nigeria is placed in a difficult group alongside three-time champions Germany, Venezuela, and Korea.
