Coach of victorious Nigeria's Falconets Chris Danjuma has revealed the tactics used to curtail the South Korean team, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

Despite the aggression and speed of the Koreans, Esther Onyenezide handed Falconets the maximum points as she netted the only goal of the game.

While reacting to the result Danjuma said they deployed a plan to reduce the speed and incursion of the Asians.

" Football is about building your tactics as it suits you.

"Playing against Korea that has speed and makes an incursion into your box through the wings, what we did was to get a person to make sure that they don't get in through that area and it helped us.

On the match against Canada, "We approach every match based on the importance of that game and with the hope to win the match.

On the team not scoring many goals, "You might be thinking, why can't we go forward and score more goals holistically I spotted a weak link and I don't want us to go forward and lose the ball they counter us and we lose.

"We should play deep and it's not even deep as you are seeing it but it's a trap we are setting," he said.

Nigeria will face Canada in the final group match on Thursday.
