FIFA U20 World Cup: NFF Lines Up International Friendlies For Flying Eagles

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has finalised plans to stage not fewer than four international friendlies for the Flying Eagles ahead of the FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
These friendly matches, according to Ladan Bosso, head coach of the Flying Eagles in an exclusive interview with BSN Sports was arranged to further blend the team ahead of the FIFA age-grade competition. Bosso on Friday after their 5-0 victory over Skylink FC of Jos revealed to BSN Sports that Flying Eagles will play two friendly matches with Niger Republic and Benin Republic before leaving Nigeria for Argentina on May 6th.
"Yeah, we've requested for that (international friendly games), and I give kudos to the Federation in putting things together to have them." Bosso told BSN Sports.
"Talking of international friendlies, even in Nigeria here, we're playing Niger, and Benin Republic.
"While in Argentina, we will have about 12 days to kickoff, so we have to play some international friendlies there too, so that we can blend in with the foreign invited players." He said.
The 2023 FIFA World Cup will be hosted by Argentina and will commence on 20th May to 11th June 2023. The two times finalists, Nigeria are in the same group with Brazil, Italy and Dominican Republic. Flying will start their campaign against Dominican Republic before taking on Italy and Brazil in the second and third group games.
