Falconets Hit Ghana For WAFU B Tournament

Nigeria's Falconets and her counterpart from Cote D’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Togo, and Benin will arrive in Ghana on Thursday, May 18, 2023, for the WAFU B U-20 Girls Cup of Nations in Kumasi, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The tournament which kicks off on Saturday, May 20, will bring together seven countries within the sub-region to compete for honors in the maiden edition of the tourney.

The Black Princesses wrapped up their preparations with a friendly against Niger on Wednesday ahead of their trip to Kumasi for the competition.

Coach Yussif Basigi’s girls beat Niger 11-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium Wednesday in readiness for the competition.

Ghana is paired with Benin and Cote D’Ivoire in Group A while Nigeria faces Niger, Burkina Faso, and Togo in Group B.
