Falconets Replace Igbokwe, Abdulwahab Ahead Of U-20 World Cup

Nigeria’s Falconets have made two changes to their squad ahead of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Captain Joy Igbokwe and defender Faridat Abdulwahab have been replaced after the duo were ultimately not granted visas to travel for the tournament.

Vivian Kachi and Alaba Olabiyi have been called up as their replacements and have joined the squad as preparations continue for the global youth competition.

The Falconets will represent Nigeria at the tournament as they step up their preparations for their opening fixture in Poland.
