Falconets Send Warning to Senegal with 15–Goal Friendly Victory

Nigeria’s U-20 women’s national team, the Falconets, recorded an emphatic 15–0 victory over the Oyo State women’s team in a closed-door friendly match played on Tuesday in Ibadan, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The warm-up fixture formed part of the Falconets’ preparations for their upcoming FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifying clash against Senegal. Despite the informal nature of the encounter, the match highlighted the team’s attacking depth and readiness ahead of the crucial qualifier.
Adegbemile Rebecca led the scoring with a hat-trick, while Alaba Olabiyi and Ifeanyi Kindness both grabbed braces. Further goals came from Ramotalahi Kareem, Nwachukwu Chisom, Moshood Shakirat, Janet Akekoromowei, Mamudu Mary, Oscar Precious, Kafayat Mafisere and Adeshina Fatimoh, each finding the net once to complete the rout.
The encounter was played behind closed doors, with technical crew and officials using the opportunity to assess squad balance and tactical execution.
Nigeria will face Senegal in the first leg of their U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier on Saturday, February 7, at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 pm.
