Falcons Battle Bulls, Hotcoal, Pillars at Mark D Ball Final 8

Kwara Falcons will tip off the final eight of the Mark D Ball Championship with a clash against Gombe Bulls at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Package B on Wednesday 15th, June 2022.

Coach Baba Jubril's men have be drawn in Group B alongside Kano Pillars, Hot Coal City and Gombe Bulls having qualified from the last phase of the championship where they won two of three games.

The team have intensified preparations following weeks of postponement from the organizers and are optimistic of having a successful outing.

" We've earn the right to play in the last eight having navigate our way to this stage from the initial phase where about 40 teams started the championship and from our preparations, we are going to give it a go", Coach Baba Said.

The clash against Bulls is schedule for 2pm, followed by games against Hot coal City on Thursday (2pm) with the last group match fixed for Friday against Kano Pillars at 10:00am.

Falcons last face Gombe Bulls in 2018 where they lost 67-81 in the finals of the Kwese Premier Basketball League at the Sanni Abacha Stadium in Kano.
