Fans Attack Onuachu, Teammates In Turkey

Trabzonspor players, including Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu, were attacked by fans in Turkey on Saturday following their emphatic 3-0 away victory over Samsunspor, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Onuachu was the standout performer in the encounter, scoring twice to lead Trabzonspor to a comprehensive win on the road.

However, celebrations after the match were cut short when a group of home supporters reportedly launched an attack on the visiting players as they made their way from the stadium.

Turkish authorities acted swiftly, with six suspects arrested in connection with the incident, while investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding the attack.

Despite the unfortunate incident, Onuachu continues his fine form for Trabzonspor, taking his tally to 15 goals for the season and reinforcing his status as one of the club’s most important attacking assets.
