Football fans will have to pay N200 and N2000 as entrance fee to watch Saturday's President Federation Cup finals featuring El-Kanemi of Maiduguri and Abia Warriors of Umuahia, as well as Rivers Angels and Naija Ratels.
The games will hold at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, from 1.00 p.m.
The teams have had their official training sessions at the match venue on Friday.
As the ‘away’ teams on the big day, Rivers Angels and Abia Warriors have been handed the privilege to train at the match time. For this reason, Rivers Angels trained from 1.00 p.m. (which is the time the women’s final will kick off), while the ‘home’ team, Naija Ratels, trained from 2.00 pm.
In the men’s draw, ‘away’ team, Abia Warriors, trained from 4.00 p.m. (which is the time the men’s final will kickoff), while the ‘home’ team, El-Kanemi Warriors, trained from 5.00 p.m.
The scheduling for training sessions conformed to international best practices.
The NFF said tickets for the games are being sold on line, adding that while the popular side tickets go for N200, the VIP tickets are being sold for N2,000 each.
Today’s grand finale at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on the Lagos Waterfront will see Naija Ratels FC of Abuja, a club founded only five years ago, take on eight-time champions, Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt in the women’s championship match, while the men’s final involves El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri and Abia Warriors of Umuahia.
Among dignitaries expected at the finals are Sports Development Minister, John Enoh, and NFF President, Ibrahim Gusau.
