Favour Ofili Breaks world Record In Women’s 150m

Nigeria’s Favour Ofili has set the new world record in the women’s 150m race at the Adidas Atlanta City Games, clocking a time of 12.53s, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

She becomes the first woman in history to run the event under 16 seconds, breaking the previous World Record of 16.23s by Shaunae Miller-Uibo from 2018.

Amusan finished 2nd with a time of 12.53s in Heat 2 of the Women's 100m Hurdles and have advanced into the final of the Adidas meet while Jamaica's Ackera Nugent came 3rd with a time of 12.60s at the Atalanta City Games.

United States Keni Harrison won the race with a comfortable win of 12.44s.
