Fed Cup: Rangers, Ebedei To Complete Tie On Thursday

Rangers will conclude its Federation Cup Round of 16 fixture against FC Ebedei on Thursday by 8.00 am after heavy rain disrupted the encounter on Wednesday at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The match had to be discontinued by the match officials after the first half had ended with scores at 3-1 for the 2019 champions, as the intensity of the rains made visibility difficult and both teams were called back into the locker room.

After due deliberations, the officials fixed 8.00 am for the completion of the match inside the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.

Innocent Gabriel opened the floodgates of goals for his side in the 5th minute when he converted from a tight angle with his back to the goal while the Ekiti Boys equalized in 20 minutes when Odekunle Musiliu poked home from close range but two quick goals from Saidu Adamu and Austin Onyemaechi on 28 and 29 minutes ensured that the Premier League side went into the break with a commanding lead.
