The coach of the newly crowned Federation Cup champions El Kanemi Warriors Aliyu Zubairu has said having younger players helped them to prevail, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

El-Kanemi Warriors on Saturday defeated Abia Warriors 2-0 to emerge as the winner of the 2024 Nigerian Federation Cup.

While speaking on the outcome of the game, he said his team is dominated by younger players and that they played a pivotal role in the victory.

" We have perseverance and resilience to keep, no matter the situation, I knew they will keep pushing.

The age advantage of the team gave us the edge and the trophy", he said.
