By Sampson Adedeji

The Federation Cup round of 16 started on Wednesday and it was a day to forget for Shooting Stars as they suffered a shocking exit, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Oluyole Warriors are regarded as one of the most in-form teams in the country following their recent performance in the league.

They edged out Lobi Stars in the round of 32 and picked a valuable away draw against Katsina United in the match day 33 of the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The Nigeria National League side netted the only goal in the 83rd minute to end the dream of Shooting Stars winning the trophy.

The last time Shooting Stars won the trophy was in 1995 when they defeated Katsina United 2-0 in the final.
