The journey of defending champions Bendel Insurance in this year's Federation Cup has ended, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Benin Arsenal ended the competition this year as a defending champions after lifting the trophy last season beating Rangers in the final.

They were drawn against the National League side Wikki Tourist and it ended on a sad note for them.

Two second-half goals from Promise Damala and Owolabi Aremu ensured the ouster of Bendel Insurance in the round of 32.
