Federation Cup Ouster: Ogunbote Switches Attention To Abia Warriors Clash

The head coach of Shooting Stars Gbenga Ogunbote has switched his attention to the upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League game against Abia Warriors, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite being one of the most in-form teams in the country, the Oluyole Warriors suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to El-Kanemi Warriors in the round of 16 of the Federation Cup.

" We are out there, there is nothing anybody can do about that, but I want you to put that behind you and focus on the task before us, which is the league.

" I want us to approach Sunday's game against Abia Warriors like a wounded lion, like somebody who has been insulted and bruised.

"Every game in the remaining matches means so much to us and we cannot afford to fail", he stated.
