The clash between Wikki Tourists FC and Jigawa Golden Stars is expected to headline the Round of 64 fixtures in the 2026 President Federation Cup as matches take place across the country this week.

The highly anticipated encounter will be played in Kaduna and is widely regarded as one of the standout fixtures of the opening round due to the pedigree and competitive history of both clubs.

Defending champions Kwara United will begin their title defence against Sporting Supreme U-19 in Anyigba, while Shooting Stars face a difficult test against Kebbi United in Abuja.

Elsewhere, two-time African champions Enyimba FC will take on El-Sharma FC in Abuja, while Rivers United battle Lagos-based G12 FC in Benin City.

Last season’s finalists Abakaliki FC are also in action against ABU DLC in Makurdi, while Lobi Stars square off against Kogi United in another intriguing fixture in Abuja.

One of the potential surprise fixtures of the round will see underdogs Ahudiannem FC attempt to upset Plateau United in Makurdi.

Other notable fixtures include Bendel Insurance against Katsina United Junior Team, Akwa United versus Wilbros FC, and Niger Tornadoes taking on Sunshine Stars U-19.

The Round of 64 fixtures will be played between May 19 and May 21 across different centres nationwide, with clubs aiming to progress in Nigeria’s oldest domestic cup competition.
