Fenerbahçe Complete Signing Of Suliat Abideen Ahead Of New Season

Turkish Women's Super League champions Fenerbahçe have confirmed the signing of Nigerian forward Suliat Abideen from fellow Turkish club Fomget, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Abideen becomes Fenerbahçe's second signing of the summer transfer window as the reigning champions continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

The Nigerian joins the Istanbul-based club after impressing with Fomget and is expected to add quality and depth to Fenerbahçe's attacking options as they prepare to defend their league title.

Fenerbahçe will begin their UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying campaign on August 5, where they face Ukrainian champions Metalist in the second-round mini tournament.

Belgian side OH Leuven (OHL) and Czech champions TSC are the other teams competing in the qualifying group.

The Turkish Women's Super League is scheduled to kick off on August 22, with Fenerbahçe aiming to retain the league crown while also making an impact in Europe.
