Festive Spirit In Camp As Super Eagles Send Christmas Wishes To Nigerians

By Our Reporter

The Super Eagles of Nigeria brought festive joy to fans back home as they marked Christmas celebrations from their training base in Morocco during the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Fresh from a hard-earned 2–1 victory over Tanzania in their opening group match secured through goals from Semi Ajayi and Ademola Lookman, the Nigerian squad took time to share a light-hearted Christmas message despite the demands of tournament football.

In a video shared on social media, several players including Victor Osimhen, Raphael Onyedika, Chigozie Awaziem, Stanley Nwabali and Wilfred Ndidi appeared in high spirits, delivering warm Christmas greetings to Nigerians.

Members of the coaching crew were also featured, with head coach Eric Chelle joined by assistants Fidelis Ilechukwu and Daniel Ogunmodede, underlining the strong sense of unity within the camp.

The festive clip offered fans a glimpse of the players’ relaxed and human side, away from the intensity of AFCON competition, as they smiled, laughed and extended goodwill messages to supporters.

Nigerian fans responded enthusiastically across social media platforms, expressing appreciation for the gesture and drawing inspiration from the team’s togetherness as they continue their quest for continental glory.

Super Eagles will face the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on Saturday in a top of the table encounter.
