Final Day Results Confirm As NWFL Premiership Season Wraps Up

The 2025/26 Nigeria Women Football League Premiership regular season concluded on Matchday 18 with decisive results recorded across multiple centres, as teams battled to finish strongly, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
In Lagos, FC Robo Queens secured a 2–1 victory over Nasarawa Amazons. Goals from Opeyemi Ajakaye and Oluwakemi Adegbuyi handed the hosts control before Ayatsea Hembafan reduced the deficit late on.
At Ikenne, Remo Stars Ladies fell to a 3–2 home defeat against Dannaz Ladies in one of the most dramatic fixtures of the day. After an early exchange of goals, the visitors took command before a late own goal sealed the contest.
In Benin City, Edo Queens edged Rivers Angels 2–1, with Atume Doosuur and Esther Inyang finding the net to secure maximum points despite a late response from the visitors.
Delta Queens delivered one of the most dominant performances of the round, defeating Osun Babes 3–0 in Asaba. Titilayo Aweda scored twice in the opening stages before Anastasia Terfa added a third.
Elsewhere, Ahudiyannem Queens claimed a narrow 1–0 away win over Abia Angels courtesy of Loveth Edeh’s second-half strike.
In Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti Queens stunned Bayelsa Queens with an early goal from Joke Adeyemo proving decisive in a 1–0 victory.
Sunshine Queens secured a 2–0 win over Confluence Queens in Akure, with Lolade Akintunde converting from the penalty spot before Bunmi Adenuga sealed the result late on.
In Owerri, Heartland Queens left it late to defeat Adamawa Queens 1–0, as Chimebere Opara struck in the 88th minute.
Meanwhile, Pacesetter Queens and Naija Ratels shared the points in Ibadan, playing out a 1–1 draw after Samantha Victor cancelled out Janet Achukwu’s earlier opener.
The results bring the regular season to a close, setting the stage for the next phase of the competition.
