The impending signing of Cameroon international and Inter Milan goalie - Andre Onana to Manchester United has reached a common ground as both clubs agreed on a £47 million five-year deal, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Recall that the 27-year-old UEFA Champions League finalist agreed on personal terms in principle following the end of the 2022-23 campaign. as Eric Tem Hag was keen on finding a replacement for the ousted David De Gea going into pre-season.

According to updates from TalkSports, Andre Onana is set for medicals at Carrington in Old Trafford to finalize his move for the next five years with the red side of Manchester, following an impressive season with Internazionale.

Onana started his junior career at La Masia in Spain with Barcelona in 2010 before making his first professional move to the Dutch League with Ajax Amsterdam in the winter of 2015.

Seven years down the line, after keeping 85 clean sheets in 214 games for the Dutch outfit and getting cautioned 18 times, Onana left for the Serie A for free in the summer of 2022.

The move resulted in leading the best defensive team domestically in the Serie A and on the continent in the UEFA Champions League, while finishing amongst the top 3 in the League and as finalists in Europe.

A £47 million transfer deal for the next five years to join Eric Ten Hag's team, who also finished amongst the English Premier League's top 3 teams last season, will seem fitting for both parties.
